John Beauge | Special to PennLiveU.S. Marshals announced they picked up Brian Gregory Quinn, 44, without incident about 6 a.m. Thursday in Deptford, New Jersey.
The 17-year-old’s shoeless, partially snow covered, frozen body was discovered Jan. 13, 2001, by hunters down an embankment off Orchard Drive in a rural part of Hemlock Twp. in Columbia County.Investigators in the past have said they suspected the killing was related to the drug community in Williamsport and that the body was dumped near Bloomsburg.
The identification of a suspect was the result of state police interviews in the Williamsport area, Columbia County assistant District Attorney Rebecca Reinhiller said. Court records show Quinn, a native of New Jersey, has convictions in Lycoming County between 1996 and 2003 including ones for arson and terroristic threats.
