A woman has shot dead three children and three adults at a private Christian school in Nashville, Tennessee.

Officers started receiving reports of an attack at 10.13am and as police began clearing the ground floor of the school they heard gunfire coming from the second floor. So far this year, there have been 89 US school shootings - defined as when a gun is fired on school property.
