Natasha Lyonne nailed her first Saturday Night Live hosting gig during the show's 47th season finale, which featured Japanese Breakfast as the musical guest.
The historical comedy sketch show bid farewell to two of its famous cast members, as Pete Davidson, 28, and Kate McKinnon, 38, performed in their very last sketches.
The star continued bringing the laughs as she stated SNL combines everything she loves: 'New York City, show business, people who have done the same thing since the '70s, and different unions fighting.' The journey: The New Yorker briefly described her road to fame, starting with her being a child star and continuing on to her legal problems as well as her drug addiction later in life
Rough: 'So, things are going great and knock knock, who's there? Multiple arrests and drug addiction. Oh, yeah, I went to hell and back. Life was rough,' she stated Bad boss: 'Mr. Dooley's a grade-a bigot and misogynist,' Nwodim stated as the women stood outside of his office, as Strong added, 'Someone ought to kill him'
When the men asked Dooley to laugh, the ladies proceeded to move his jaw up and down so as not to raise any suspicion. Another skit featured a commercial about 'stupid people' voting, with Lyonne, Bryant, Kenan Thompson, 44, James Austin Johnson, 32, and Mooney. 'Jokes have to be explained. Movies have to be explained. Foods have to be explained. Slowly,' Bryant went on.
'Vote. Because they give you a sticker and you can put it anywhere,' she said at the end of the sketch. Inappropriate: Lyonne kept the laughs going with Mikey Day, 42, as she played an inappropriate reporter at a vintage Yankees and White Sox baseball game'Joltin' Joe DiMaggio is headed to the plate. Or should I say, Mr. Marilyn Monroe?' he said.
Lyone continued her controversial coverage of the game, asking, 'You heard the story about Babe Ruth in Cleveland, right?''Please stop,' Day begged her.'Babe Ruth was so hungry that he ate a child,' she restated to Day's horror. 'I'll put a condom on the nasal - can I get that squirt? Am I speaking clearly? I have asked for nasonex at least 11 times.'
The actress kept the audience entertained in a prom sketch where she played a murderous high school student.prom, with flashes of the peers he attended school with, as he explained where they are now. 'Trena Dash played d-1 soccer in college and won a national championship. She should have been happy, but she never got over Rachel Finster sleeping with her dad,' he went on.
'Some people had happier stories, like Natalie turner, who was granted the first gay marriage license in the state. We all went to the wedding, even Rachel Finster, who was there protesting with her hateful church,' he continued. In yet another skit, Lyonne played in a hippie commercial that advertised 'grey adult pigtails' for women' as McKinnon stated it was 'The number one hairstyle for whimsical women of a certain age.'
