Teenager Nate Kelly enhanced his ever-growing reputation with a first-round submission win over Belfast's Jordan Elliott on Friday evening.
Kelly was the first of the Irish contingent in action on Friday's card and produced an impressive performance in beating Elliott in an amateur contest at 130lbs, which was the first bout of the evening.'The Great' knocked his opponent down with a kick to the chest and got on his back as he went for the submission and it didn't take him long to get it as he locked in the armbar and made Elliott tap.
Kelly now hopes to fight on Bellator's Dublin show this June and perhaps even before then as he looks to remain extremely active for the remainder of 2024.
