Man found guilty of murdering friend who woke him up
A man has been found guilty of murdering his friend following an argument about being woken up.
Crabtree, 33, was convicted following a trial at Chelmsford Crown Court and will be sentenced on 9 September. Essex Police said Mr Moore had been to Palmers Grove to pick up Ryan Crabtree for work, and had thrown stones at a bedroom window of Robert Crabtree in a bid to wake up his brother. Mr Moore was stabbed repeatedly and when he fell to the floor was stabbed again before he managed to stagger back to his car, police said.Mr Moore, 33, was stabbed repeatedly by Robert Crabtree in Nazeing, Essex, last SeptemberPolice said in his first interview Robert Crabtree claimed Mr Moore was the aggressor and it was only after he was assaulted that he went to get a knife.
