Here are our NBA picks for Tuesday’s five-game slate, which features one of the more compelling matchups of the season.
As we mentioned at the top, this game pits the hottest team in the NBA against a team that can’t win on the road and will be without its best player on Tuesday. How’s that for a sales pitch?
Truthfully, even if Stephen Curry were active for this one, the Warriors would still be a tough bet after losing five of their last seven games outright and posting a 4-13 ATS record on the road this season – one loss shy of the worst record in the league. To make matters worse, the Dubs will also be without second-leading scorer Andrew Wiggins , while Klay Thompson and Jonathan Kuminga are both on the mend.
Conversely, the Knicks have won seven straight after Sunday’s comeback win over the Pacers, with five of those seven wins coming by double digits. RJ Barrett has come alive as of late, averaging 25.2 points on 47.4% shooting over his last five games, and top scorers Julius Randle and Jalen Brunson have chipped in a combined five 30-point games during this seven-game win streak.
