According to the Miami Herald, Bestar is recalling 129,000 wall beds in the United States and another 53,000 in Canada after the death of a 79-year-old woman and 60 other reports of injuries.

And, according to the story, the company “knows of 60 other incidents of detached wall beds causing bruises and other injuries.” “The wall beds can detach from the wall and fall onto those nearby, posing serious impact and crush hazards,” the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission reportedly said in a release.
