She was left in 'agony'
Two sisters and an ex-partner launched a vicious attack on a former friend and neighbour in Bulwell. The victim, who was punched at least 20 times by the man in the group, was left with bruising and swelling to her face, complex multiple facial fractures and possible rib fractures as she was punched, kicked and dragged along in the street.
"Looking back, I am angry. We all used to be friends. I am upset they took this form of action," her statement read. "It's still hanging over my head. I want some closure to the incident. I want them to be dealt with appropriately and however the judge sees fit."The catalyst to the violence was Gemma Plaskett throwing a mixture of water and bleach at her neighbour's friend, who had been waiting in Bancroft Street, Bulwell, for a takeaway to arrive.
Shannon English, representing Gemma Plaskett, said it was accepted by her client that she delivered blows and she went too far. Hamilton accepted he had punched and kicked the woman, the court heard.
