NeNe Leakes sues Andy Cohen, Bravo and others claiming RHOA was racist and hostile workplace
Leakes, 54, also named True Entertainment and Truly Original in the lawsuit. She said that she heard multiple racist remarks from co-star Kim Zolciak-Biermann, 43, including the N-word. Her attorneys said the defendants violated federal employment and anti-discrimination laws with their conduct.
'Not a day goes by that NeNe doesn’t wake up with an onslaught of overwhelming emotions,' her lawyer said. Leakes was an RHOA regular for 10 seasons and a part-time cast member in the show's seventh season. Leakes said that speaking out about the racist behavior and support of BLM factored in her being forced off the series in 2020
