Netflix subscribers can look forward to a diverse range of new content in December, including the awaited second season of Squid Game, Sabrina Carpenter’s music special, and the hit films 'The Batman' and 'Puss in Boots: The Last Wish'. The lineup also features new TV shows and films like '24 Hours in Waitrose', 'Accident Man: Hitman’s Holiday', and 'Dangerous'.
Netflix has a whole host of new TV shows and films arriving on the platform in December for subscribers to binge-watch over Christmas.
Accident Man: Hitman’s Holiday – Action-comedy sequel starring Scott Adkins. A hit man must beat the top assassins in the world to protect the ungrateful son of a mafia boss, save the life of his only friend, and rekindle his relationship with his maniacal father figure. Naruto – A beloved anime series. Naruto, a teenage ninja, embarks on various adventures with his friends and trains hard to become the Hokage. However, he must prove his mettle in order to be successful in his quest.
The Pembrokeshire Murders – Three-part true-crime drama starring Luke Evans. DSU Steve Wilkins reopens two unsolved murder cases from the 1980s. Forensic methods link the crimes to a string of burglaries. Steve's team has to find more evidence before the perpetrator is released from prison. Maple Leaf Dreams – Romantic drama. A young Filipino couple move to Canada to try to make a life for themselves, but struggle with loneliness and have trouble making ends meet.
Heartbreak Motel – A dark comedy series set in a rundown motel where secrets unravel among its eccentric guests. Biggest Heist Ever Netflix Original – Documentary. Their crimes earned them the nickname Bitcoin Bonnie and Clyde — and the story only gets weirder in this documentary about the most lucrative heist ever.
December 8 Puss in Boots: The Last Wish – Animated adventure / comedy with the voice of Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek. Puss in Boots discovers that his passion for adventure has taken its toll when he learns that he has burnt through eight of his nine lives. Puss sets out on an epic journey to find the mythical Last Wish and restore his nine lives.
Queer Eye Netflix Original – Make-over reality series with this season set in Las Vegas as the Fab Five transform the lives of everyday people from the inside out. Carry-On Netflix Original – Action thriller starring Taron Egerton and Jason Bateman. A mysterious traveler blackmails a young TSA agent into letting a dangerous package slip through security and onto a Christmas Day flight.
December 15 Alice, Darling – Psychological drama starring Anna Kendrick. A young woman trapped in an abusive relationship becomes the unwitting participant in an intervention staged. The Devil You Know – Family drama starring Omar Epps. After a lifetime of trouble, a man has the chance to turn things around with the love and support of his family. As he tries to do right, he finds himself spiraling back into the dark place he overcame.
Ronny Chieng: Love To Hate It Netflix Original – Stand-up comedy special. Ronny Chieng unpacks fertility treatment fiascoes, the dark side of men's self-help and scam-sensitive parents in this witty stand-up special. The Dragon Prince Netflix Original – Concluding another saga, this is the latest season of animated kids series.
