Mr Biden will arrive in Belfast later today as part of his four day trip
Anyone travelling to Dublin Airport on Wednesday or Friday is being advised to allow themselves extra time due to US President Joe Biden's visit to Ireland.He will spend less than 24 hours in Belfast, before travelling to Dublin Airport on Air Force One on Wednesday afternoon.In fresh advice on Monday evening, gardai warned passengers that there could be delays on the roads entering Dublin Airport.
They said: "The 46th President of the United States of America [Mr Biden] will arrive and depart at Dublin Airport, at various times over the course of the 4-day visit. "The 46th President of the United States of America will arrive and depart at Ireland West Airport, on the afternoon and evening of Friday 14th April 2023.
Gardai said that "traffic restrictions for the visit will be kept to the minimum required" and it is intended to keep any impact "localised and minimal".
