Prospective tenants Café in the Park will reopen the tea pavilion in Cassiobury Park, Watford, which was left empty when the former tenants retired in August last year.
With no replacement tenant in place at the time, the owners, customers, and Watford Borough Council said they hoped the “wonderful” café can remain as a community-focused operation.The council has now confirmed that it has appointed Café in the Park to take over. The independent business already has two locations, near Rickmansworth Aquadrome and in Linmere, Bedfordshire.
It has been operating in Hertfordshire for over a decade, priding itself on championing sustainable food and sourcing all its ingredients locally.
