A musical adapted from award-winning British 1997 film starring Robert Carlyle is coming to Blackpool in December. The stage production of The Full Monty will arrive for a run at the Opera House in the Winter Gardens for five days from December 5-9.
The cast is yet to be announced. The musical tells the story of a group of ordinary, working class guys from Sheffield who are strapped for cash in the midst of a cost of living crisis and decide to strip to make money. It is a heart-warming, sometimes bleak yet still funny, following Gaz and pals as they pluck up the courage to go 'the Full Monty' and features some classic pop floorfillers on the soundtrack, including You Can Leave Your Hat On, Hot Stuff and You Sexy Thing.It joins a growing list of top touring productions heading to the seaside resort theatre in 2023.
