The GAA has confirmed that the Allianz Football Inter-Provincial Series will showcase proposed new rule changes for Gaelic football at Croke Park in mid-October. The series will feature Connacht, Leinster, Munster, and Ulster teams coached by Pádraic Joyce, Dessie Dolan, John Cleary, and Kieran Donnelly respectively.
The GAA have confirmed the Allianz Football Inter-Provincial Series which will showcase the proposed new rule changes for Gaelic football will be held at Croke Park in Mid-October.
Football Review Committee Chairman Jim Gavin has been monitoring some challenge games played under the new rules and the Dublin legend likes what he sees. The six-time All-Ireland winning manager believes the “solo and go” for an offended player and dissent punishment are contributing to quicker games. Players have had to hand the ball to a fouled opponent. Failing to do so results in a free being brought forward 50m.
