The proposals by Elderpark Housing Association will see a new 45-home development built on the site of the current Elderpark Community Centre.
Plans have been approved for a new housing development to built on the site of a community centre in Glasgow 's Govan area.
The proposals were put forward by Elderpark Housing Association for the new 45-home development to built on the site at Nimmo Drive. They have now been green lit by Glasgow City Council's planning committee. The plans will see the current Elderpark Community Centre - which is owned by the housing association - replaced by the three, two, and one-bedroom properties. Documents contained within the planning application read: "MAST Architects have been engaged by the JR Group on behalf of Elderpark HousingAssociation, to develop proposals for a new build residential development at the site, located at Nimmo Drive, Glasgow. "The development reflects the discussions and requirements of Elderpark HousingAssociation and it is proposed to deliver a mix of 3 bedroom, 2 bedroom and 1 bedroom dwellings to HfVN standards, totalling 45 units. This not only meets the requirements of the housing association and also the surrounding area.
