Luxury watch company Breitling is opening its first Merseyside store in Liverpool ONE . Scheduled for early 2025, this flagship location will be a part of 'the biggest year for openings' the shopping complex has seen. The Swiss brand opened in 1884 and has since launched 27 boutiques around the UK. There are more than 250 stores worldwide. Breitling is known for its industrial aesthetic and takes inspiration from motorbikes, pool tables and other typically masculine elements.
It came after a number of former employees took to social media, including X and TikTok, to share that staff across the UK had been made redundant and that branches were closing imminently. A spokesperson for Morphe told the ECHO : 'Given the difficult UK retail trading environment and disproportionately high rents, we made the difficult decision to close our eight owned Morphe stores in the UK and Amsterdam.
