It will land in cinemas this summer
After nearly 10 years in development, a Gran Turismo movie is finally going to race into cinemas this year.A first teaser for the video game adaptation has been released featuring its cast - including David Harbour and Orlando Bloom - discussing the film and its"heart-pounding" racing scenes.
Described as"the ultimate wish-fulfillment tale", the movie will be directed by Neill Blomkamp and will co-star Djimon Hounsou, Geri Halliwell and Thomas Kretschmann. In the newly released teaser, we get a glimpse of some visceral racing sequences, placing viewers close to the action in a way that recalls last year's smash-hitSpeaking in the trailer, Harbour - who plays Jann's trainer in the film - says:"It's bad-ass car action that you're going to feel like you're in the middle of."
