A former shop in Cannon Street would become a new takeaway under plans 🥡
The vacant building used to be a pharmacy specialising in all things cannabis called ‘Cannabliss Dispensary’.
Plans include the installation of an external flue vent pipe to the back of the building, to serve the kitchen that would be located in the basement. The site is located in the Winckley Conservation Area, and forms part of a row of terraced properties along the western side of the street. The front side of the proposed building would remain unchanged, while alterations are put forward for the basement and ground level such as upgrading the existing ceilings on both levels, and installation of internal fire doors.
“Vacant buildings are exposed to vandalism therefore it will affect the local streetscape and heritage.”
