The founders noticed there was a growing demand for sustainable fashion options in Ireland, but the luxury retail lovers didn’t have as many options to feed their fixation on all things designer. Speaking about the exciting launch, Isabelle O’Reilly, Founder of by nothing new explained: “We identified a gap in the Irish market for vintage designer handbags targeted at the demographic known as “Zillennials” - Gen Z & Millennials.“The designer bags we sell at by nothing new are timeless pieces with a young and cool look, at an accessible price point.”
She went on to say their options are wide ranging, so “whether someone is buying their first designer bag, or trying to make a more environmentally conscious purchase, by nothing new aims to offer a place to do that.” The brand describes itself as having “attainable sustainable fashion” as their main objective “with goals to reduce fashion waste and the demand for mass produced fast fashion goods in Ireland.”
