Brooklyn U.S. Attorney Breon Peace said the motive remains unclear, and there is no indication the suspect, 62-year-old Frank R. James, has ties to terror organizations.
NEW YORK — The man accused of shooting 10 people on a Brooklyn subway train has been arrested and charged with a federal terrorism offense.
When officers arrived to arrest James, they did not immediately find him there but were able to find him on a street corner nearby. They also said the gas mask used by the suspect at the scene was purchased on eBay. However, an eBay spokesperson has not confirmed the purchase.
