AFC Wimbledon have announced that their Carabao Cup tie with Newcastle has been postponed following heavy rainfall in London.
And the club have now confirmed that the match will take place at a later date due to the torrential rain which has battered the capital over the past 24 hours. It had emerged prior to the announcement that Newcastle had already cancelled their pre-match press conference amid concerns over the match going ahead.
