Prior to Pelosi’s staff, Lizárraga worked as deputy director of legislative affairs for the SEC and also worked on the House Financial Services Committee. Pelosi denied her husband, Paul Pelosi, had made stock trades or purchases using information he received from her after being pressed on the issue by Fox News Digital.
The denial came after Pelosi made headlines when her husband, who has become known for making stock trades worth millions, made a purchase of computer chip stock.
