Kenny looks unlikely to be kept on beyond this year with some interesting names in the offing to replace him.

Premier League managerial stalwart Steve Bruce is the bookies favourite to take over as Ireland manager if Stephen Kenny is relieved of his duties.

Back to back defeats to France and The Netherlands ended hopes of automatic qualification for Euro 2024 and with it has left Stephen Kenny is a seriously precarious position. The FAI are believed to have stated that he will see out the year but his future beyond that looks doubtful. Bruce has been out of work since leaving West Brom last year and is the 2/1 favourite with bookmakers Boylesports to become Ireland's permanent manager. The boys in green are 7/5 favourites to give current boss Kenny a much needed victory.
