It is expected that the cost-of-living measures will be signed off on Tuesday by the Cabinet
The Minister for Social Protection Heather Humphreys has said that measures to help households manage the pressure of the heightened cost of living will be significantly less than last year.
She told told RTÉ News that the priority will go to "older people, people with disabilities, carers, and working families with children."
