The NFL released a statement Tuesday afternoon saying that the game between the Buffalo Bills and the Cincinnati Bengals will not be resumed this week.

The second-year safety fell to the ground after tackling Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins following a 13-yard completion from quarterback Joe Burrow. The Bills organization said that Hamlin's"heartbeat was restored on the field" before he was taken to the hospital. Joe Morgan is a Sports Reporter for Fox News.
