Nursing strikes across 73 trusts in England are taking place today and tomorrow while ambulance workers are striking today and Friday, February 10 across the UK. There are also Physiotherapist strikes on Thursday, February 9. “However, it is vital that people do not put off seeking care and come forward for treatment – using 111 online for non-life threatening care, as well as local pharmacies or general practice, or dialling 999 in a life-threatening emergency. Areas impacted have worked hard to maintain as much routine care as possible so it is also important that anyone with an appointment should continue to attend as planned unless they have been contacted to rearrange.
