Agreement between the UK and EU on sharing trade data is a 'significant building block' to reach a deal on the NI Protocol, MichealMartinTD says
Why is there no Stormont?
It keeps Northern Ireland aligned with the EU's single market for goods, avoiding the need for a hard border with the Irish Republic after Brexit. In a joint statement, the EU and UK said the agreement on trade data was "a critical prerequisite to building trust and providing assurance, and provided a new basis for EU-UK discussions".The men are set to meet again next week.
