'This weight on my shoulders feels like it's finally been lifted, I can finally breathe.'
The Derry native shared the news in a nine-minute long video shared to his 3.42 million subscribers on July 22. The video shows Adam at home with his family, and takes fans on his coming-out journey.
"I wanted to create this video to show you guys my journey, to show you the way in which I decided to do it. The important message is just to open up and talk about whatever's on your mind. Opening up to these guys was the best thing ever. I was instantly a million times better when I told them. Adam B also revealed he has a boyfriend, and showed the moment he came out to the team at Blue Peter on the day of his final show. He left the show on July 15 after two years as a presenter.
