Star Niamh Cullen dazzled in a pink sequin Barbie-inspired dress at the Hayu STELLAR InstaStar Awards, a last‑minute change that matched her wellness‑focused lifestyle. The Irish spin‑class instructor shares how she's navigating life after her husband's death, returning to work, and encouraging people to embrace movement without fear.

Niamh Cullen looks so effortlessly gorgeous on the red carpet at this year’s Hayu STELLAR InstaStar Awards. The brief was Barbie girl and she absolutely smashed that, even though she only found her dress just a handful of hours before hitting the carpet!

“I got this at half three today. The dress I ordered didn’t arrive. So I ran out to Drobey and said I wanted to be a Barbie girl,” she tells us as she shows off her pink sequin dress. View this post on Instagram“I am living the best wellness life.

I went to the gym this morning and I’ll have drinks tonight. It’s the perfect situation to be in,” she says, discussing finding the perfect balance. Niamh hosts her own spin classes, but has been taking a break following the death of her husband, Jamie in 2025. She revealed she is in the process of getting back to work now and shared her tips on how to get over the fear of heading to the gym.

“Gym classes in general can be intimidating. Exercise is intimidating. We’re being fed on Instagram what the ideal body should be. Throw that in the bin,” she says.

“When I’m back spinning, everyone should come to my class. It’s all good time and good vibes. It’s all about finding the best movement for you. I can’t do yoga because my head won’t go there.

But doing a nice, fun spin class or a cardio class with really good music is perfect for me. It’s honestly up to you. ” As for how she’ll be spending the autumn months, she says: “I’m going back to work. Life has obviously been mental; let’s not lie.

But I’m trying my best, one foot in front of the other. I’m coming up the year mark of when I lost Jamie. But I’m going to be with all my friends. ”
