Nick Cannon's ninth child has arrived
The 41 year old welcomed a daughter named Onyx Ice Cole Cannon on 14 September with model LaNisha Cole and revealed the news in a lengthy post on Instagram. The US host chose his post on Instagram as a chance to also hit back at the “criticism and cynicism” he’s received following his public backlash for fathering several children with different women close together.
“We all learn so much from these Angels we call children. I am learning that it is not the limited amount of time we have on this planet but it’s the limited amount of love that is the issue. The star continued to say that he wishes to teach his newborn daughter the same lessons and “not let others shame or ridicule her with their outside opinions”, referencing his own believed treatment.
“As we all know I am not easily triggered and have quite tough skin and have always been an open book but not everyone in my family has that same level of strength.”
