The 39-year-old rap star wished her mother Carol Maraj a happy birthday on Christmas Eve with a cute video of her playing with her son, nicknamed Papa Bear.

In the video, Nicki and a man who was presumably Kenneth could be heard chanting, 'Go Pop-Pop, go Pop-Pop,' as Carol held him up. This May, Carol revealed that Nicki was part of what inspired her to leave her abusive husband Robert Maraj, who died in February. She also noted: 'A son sees his father abusing his mother, he’ll grow up and think that’s normal. And he does that to his girl and he’s controlling.'
During their whirlwind romance, Nicki included Kenneth in the lyrics to her single Megatron: 'I f*** him like I miss him. He just came out of prison.'
