Miovski has his heart set on a move to La Liga side Girona, but full back Devlin believes the Reds can handle his absence
The North Macedonia international is attracting interest from top European leagues and Girona are in talks with the Dons over a potential deal. Devlin knows it would be a blow to lose last season’s 26-goal hero but Ester Sokler showed in the Premier Sports Cup group stage he is a more than adequate replacement. Devlin said: “We’ve got boys who will be able to step up if Bojan’s not going to be involved.
“Even when he’s playing every week, regardless of if he scores, he’s never too high and he’s never too low. But he’s been brilliant and gets on with his work every day, regardless of what’s going on outside. “His stats, his running, he’s at the top of everything. That’s the attitude, the way he goes about and conducts himself.”
