Nicola disappeared last Friday
The sister of missing Nicola Bulley has said there is "no evidence" she fell into the river after police shared a theory on what might have happened.
A major search was launched but no trace of the 45-year-old has been found so far. Yesterday, February 3, Superintendent Sally Riley revealed that the investigators' main hypothesis is that Nicola accidentally fell into the river.However, Nicola's sister has urged people to "keep an open mind" and to continue sharing the appeals for information, the Mirror reports. It comes after Supt Riley told reporters in a press conference that officers are "as sure as we can be" that Nicola did not leave the area. Nicola's phone was found on a bench, still connected to a work call and her dog was running around nearby without its harness or lead. Police confirmed Nicola can swim and searchers have been both wading in the River Wyre and diving underwater. Despite an extensive search of the immediate stretch of water, investigators have not found any conclusive evidence.
