Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan has revealed the real reason why she doesn’t want to see the return of Derry Girls – saying another season would "taint" its popularity.Speaking to Rebecca and Brendan on 98FM’s Big Breakfast, Nicola said she wouldn’t want to do another season.
Nicola even admitted she doesn’t think she would want to do another Bridgerton series once the franchise is done. McGee emphasised that she felt the story had reached its natural conclusion, telling the Radio Times: "You never know what will happen in 10 years’ time, but as a writer, you just know when it’s complete. I’ll miss them, but I feel like I got to take those characters exactly where I wanted to take them."
