has given an insight into what can be expected from her character Penolple in the upcoming series of Bridgerton.while also gushing about her role as a mother in the most recent season, Nicola said: “I’ve got a super cute baby that is my doppelgänger.
“When I saw the baby, I was like, ‘That looks so like me’,” before adding, “It’s crazy. I was showing my baby pictures to his parents, and we get on well.” As you may recall season 3 ended with Colin, played by Luke Newton and Penople as parents of little Lord Featherington, who apparently is a replica of Penelope.The season also saw Penelope upgrade her name to Bridgerton, which Nicola has admittedly been adjusting to.“She’s very much in the family now. It’s very, very sweet. She’s graduated to Bridgerton status.”
The next season of Bridgerton is expected to premiere sometime in 2026 and will focus on another Bridgerton chap, Benedict , and his love interest, Sophie Baek , whose status in society is a far cry from his.Fans can also expect to see plenty of new characters including Sophie, Lady Araminta Gun , and her daughters Rosamund Li, portrayed by Michelle Mao, and Isabella Wei’s Posy Li.
While we sadly do have some time to wait for the new season, thankfully the first three seasons of Bridgerton are available to stream on Netflix.
