The former SNP leader has vowed to 'fully cooperate' with police after the arrest of her husband Peter Murrell
Nicola Sturgeon has issued a statement admitting the last few days have been "obviously difficult" after her husband Peter Murrell was arrested on Wednesday morning.
"The last few days have been obviously difficult, quite dramatic at times, but I understand that is part of a process," she told reporters. "So that's really all I needed to say just now, other than I intend to get on with life and my job as you would expect me to," she added. She said Mr Murrell is home but is "not able to say anything" about his arrest while the investigation continues.
