The original film nabbed Joaquin Phoenix an Oscar, and you can be sure we’re hoping for the same for Gaga.The Outrun follows Rona, a woman who returns home to the Orkney Islands to deal with her addiction. Based on Amy Liptrot’s 2016 memoir, the film has been described as “emotionally charged” and “delicate.”Sure, the entire plot was revealed in the trailer, it was riddled with jump scares, and the premise got old sort of fast, but hey.. the second one is out this autumn. Hooray.
