The No. 1 teams retain their top spot in the ASWA high school softball rankings
There were no changes to No. 1 teams in this week’s AWSA high school softball rankings.
Class 7A Hewitt-Trussville, Class 6A Athens, Class 5A Alexandria, Class 4A Curry, Class 3A Mobile Christian, Class 2A Pisgah, Class 1A Brantley and AISA Abbeville Christian stayed atop the rankings. There were loses to some of the top-ranked teams, but no upsets as No. 1 schools compiled a 19-6 record over the past week, led by Class 7A top-ranked Hewitt-Trussville’s 4-0 mark.in the country, moving up one spot to at No. 17.
