A family of four was hurt in the explosion in Ayr in 2021 but no prosecutions will be sought by HSE.
"Having investigated it fully, the HSE will be taking no further action."

Neighbours said they had had been forced to pay for damage to cars and their homes because insurance companies would not pay out until the cause was known. The blast site remained fenced off with three of the four worst-affected houses demolished and one standing empty.
