The Gallagher brothers are notorious for their public feuds
Noel Gallagher opened up to the late Gay Byrne about his row with his brother Liam, saying his mother Peggy tried to sort out their bitter feud.
In October 2012, Noel joined the late RTE star for a chat on his show, The Meaning of Life. Asked by Gay if their mother Peggy tried to resolve their feud, Noel said: “Oh yeah of course but she’d never take sides. Asked if he felt nervous about playing Croke Park, he said: “I’ve never felt nervous. In Oasis I always just used to feel a little bit anxious because you never quite knew what Liam was going to do. He could walk on stage and walk straight past the mic and think I’m not into it tonight for whatever reason.”
