Michael O'Neill delighted with preparation for friendly double-header in Spain
Michael O'Neill has been pleased with the work put in by his Northern Ireland squad in the build up to Saturday night's friendly against Spain. O'Neill has taken advantage of the extra time with his players at the training camp in Murcia with more time spent on the training pitch.
“The players and staff have had a great week training and preparing for the important friendly against Spain," said O'Neill. “We have had a really good six or seven days. We have a good young group who are bonding well, training well together, and spending their downtime wisely whilst working hard on the pitch. They have a great work ethic and there is a good mood around the camp.
