Not long to go now

Tis' the season as several of Nottinghamshire's most popular Christmas markets have announced launch dates and seasonal events for 2022. Several are due to set out their stalls in November.

When it comes to the bigger events, it doesn't get more Christmassy than the market in Old Market Square. This year is set to be no different with all the lights, food, drink and stalls you could possibly need. Previous years have seen the market transform into a winter wonderland complete with a skating rink and ice bar.

The Christmas beer hall will launch on Saturday, November 19 bringing an evening winter wonderland to the Garage filled with mouthwatering festive feasts from street food traders and winter cocktails such as Bailey's and Glenfiddich hot chocolates. If Bailey's isn't your thing then there will be plenty of mulled wine to keep you warm.

Christmas is coming to Mansfield early with the market in the town centre. There will be over 20 chalets with festive foods and drink available at West Gate. The daily market will be open from Saturday, November 26 until Wednesday, December 21 from 10 am until 5 pm.
