Medics are unhappy with the changes
systems manager for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, said:"The events of the last few years have placed even more focus on how essential workers from the NHS travel to and from work.
"The bus offers a safe and flexible option 24 hours a day and it’s essential we make it as affordable as possible. At NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde the team can buy an annual ticket for First Glasgow and SPT and repay it via their salary delivering substantial savings. "It’s great to be able to offer this option but today was about recognising the collaboration between all transport partners in getting the NHS safely to the front-line to save lives. The bus service is critical to that effort.”As previously revealed by the Glasgow Times, medics warned the city could be brought to a standstill as a lack of parking near to the hospital could lead to tailbacks on the road.
