The Oaks takes place at Epsom on Friday before the Derby on Saturday
Ylang Ylang heads Aidan O'Brien's Oaks team this year as the trainer aims for his 11th victory in the race. The ante-post favourite for the contest steps up in trip after being beaten just a length into fifth place over a mile in the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket and will be partnered by Ryan Moore .
O'Brien's other runner, Rubies Are Red, made late headway to finish a half-length second to You Got To Me at Lingfield three weeks ago. The pair make up half of the Irish-trained representatives in the 1m4f classic, with Dermot Weld's Ezeliya and the Noel Meade-trained Caught U Looking the others. Ezeliya has won two of her three starts to date for master of Rosewell House, who is an infrequent visitor to Epsom, but he won the Oaks with Blue Wind in 1981 and a Derby with Harzand 35 years later.
