Will there be snow this month?

Odds have dropped on a extreme bout of snowfall falling in Ireland as Sudden Stratospheric Warming nears later this month.

As forecasters give their say on a “Sudden Stratospheric Warming ”, Ladbrokes has slashed the odds on next month delivering a record low temperature. Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said: "It could be an early spring of shovels and snowshoes rather than daisies and daffodils this year if the latest odds are to be believed.

Forecaster Alan O'Reilly of Carlow Twitter shared that temperatures could take a dip on the 24th of February, with many people expecting a big change in weather.
