The former Love Island star was only seen on-screen as a jungle VIP during the launch episode
Olivia Attwood has had to quit I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! after just 24 hours. The hit ITV reality show made a much-welcomed return to screens on Sunday night and Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly were thrilled to be back in Australia after three years.
But this was not as luxurious as it first appeared as they later discovered this meant “Very Isolated People”. Kicking off the series in style, Olivia, radio DJ Chris Moyles, Loose Women star Charlene White, comedian Babatunde Aleshe and former England footballer Jill Scott arrived by a luxury car at a waterside villa on the Gold Coast.
After the arrival of Ant and Dec, the duo revealed that Olivia had been voted as a Jungle VIP and she was allowed to choose one person to join her for a meal and picked Chris. In reaction to the news, the reality TV star said: "I am equal parts flattered and unnerved the public voted for me to be a VIP… I’m guessing they know more of what that entails than I do."
But it is now being reported that Olivia has been forced to withdraw from the show on medical grounds. A spokesperson said: "As a precautionary measure Olivia needed to leave the jungle to undergo medical checks.
