The incident occurred at the Grona Lund amusement park in Stockholm.
There were 14 people on board at the time of the accident. One person tragically died and nine were also injured."Today, what is not allowed to happen, happened. An accident in the roller coaster Jetline led to the death of one person and several were injured," they confirmed."It's a sad day at Gröna Lund and our thoughts go out to those affected and their relatives," they continued.
Gröna Lund will now remain closed for at least one week, to be available to relatives and support our staff."We will reach out to those affected and their families and do what we can to support them. At the same time, we take care of the employees who need support."We understand that there are many questions and concerns, and we will update the information as soon as we know more.
