“One Piece,” released on Aug. 31, topped Netflix’s weekly English TV list for Sept. 4 to 10 with 19.3 million views to become the most watched title of the week on the streaming platform. This is higher compared to the 18.5 million views it got when it debuted at No. 1 on the chart for the period Aug. 28 to Sept. 3.
It is the live action adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s best-selling manga and stars Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji. Additional cast includes Vincent Regan, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino, Morgan Davies, Aidan Scott, Langley Kirkwood, Jeff Ward, Celeste Loots, Alexander Maniatis, McKinley Belcher III, Craig Fairbrass, Steven Ward, Chioma Umeala, and Michael Dorman.
Meanwhile, the Korean drama “A Time Called You,” starring Ahn Hyo-seop, Jeon Yeo-been, and Kang Hoon, debuted at No. 7 on the non-English TV list with 1.4 million views for the week. The Korean series “Destined with You” is at No. 4 with 2.4 million views while “Mask Girl” is at No. 5 with 1.7 million views.
