The Whites brought in four new faces late in the transfer window, with most supporter wishes coming true - except one
Leeds United’s late flurry of signings has seen the club steer clear of unrest among supporters, though one position remains high on the wish list at Elland Road.
It felt like an important few days for the hierarchy. A slow start to life in the Championship put the focus back on Leeds’ transfer strategy, with some fans beginning to worry that the club had left themselves too much to do in the final week of the window. Had last week not gone to plan, real concern would surely have begun to show on the terraces. When asked last week in a poll by Leeds Live, only 19% of fans were satisfied with the work done in the summer so far, stressing the need for the club to end the window strongly.
The next biggest priority was in midfield, a position that has since been strengthened with the signings of Gruev and Kamara from Werder Bremen and Rangers respectively.
