A spokesperson from Skills Development Scotland said: “These virtual internships allow women who’ve had a career break to get back into the workplace. "They are designed to boost confidence and help women utilise their existing skills and build on new ones. “Women take career breaks for a variety of reasons including to look after family and it can be daunting returning to work. This virtual course can act as a stepping stone to getting them back to work."
